Young NTUC, a youth movement of NTUC, first learnt about Project Happy Feet when founding member and Director of Communications and Outreach Terence Quek approached it to support the inaugural Project Happy Feet Slipper Race.
Inspired by Terence and his team’s commitment to make a positive difference, and seeing a similarity in both organisation and how each play the role of an activist, Young NTUC readily pledge its support to Project Happy Feet and its team of volunteers since last year so it could advance the cause of supporting education and training of underprivileged children even further.
Project Happy Feet would like to thank Young NTUC for the opportunity to share what it does to more than 200,000 readers through a feature on Terence in its Labour Movement Annual 2012.
