When the cast of Chestnuts 2013 saw the dance sequence video of the HAPPY FEET DANCE MOVEMENT, they saw an opportunity to support the cause of Project Happy Feet in a way they are really talented at: making a parody.
Afterall, Chestnuts is Singapore’s longest running LIVE parody sketch show. So who would expect anything less from actors Judee Tan (The Noose’s Kim Bong Cha), Judy Ngo (Forbidden Chestnuts), Dwayne Lau (The Arabian Nights) and of course, the co-founder of Chestnuts, actor and director Jonathan Lim.
No video would be complete without a videographer and an editor, and not just about anyone can do this spoof video. So it was a blessing that Cheokboard Studios‘ Jonathan Cheok (Singapore Idol finalist, host of Singapore Idol TV) decided to take time off commercial shooting to personally film and edit the spoof video, adding in his personal brand of humour.
The result? A cheokboard-Chestnuts production that is perhaps best described by watching it.
