Catwoman goes the distance

Singapore’s very own Catwoman is going the distance and asks for your support by making a donation.

Mdm Jenap ‘Catwoman’ Said, an avid runner, became a celebrity when she wore her signature ‘catwoman’ suit while running in a marathon. And quite deservingly so too, for since 2006, she has completed 42 full marathons around the world and many more runs of a shorter distance. She is 53 this year.

She was moved by Project Happy Feet’s cause of supporting education of underprivileged children, she decided to take off her running shoes, slip on a pair of Crocs slippers, and do something befitting of a superheroine.

“I’ll be walking, instead of running,” says Mdm Jenap. “And I’ll be walking from Project Happy Feet’s office at Jalan Pisang, all the way to Angsana Green at East Coast Park to join in the flag-off at 8am.”

Though no stranger to long distances, this would be the first time Mdm Jenap walks to help fund-raise for a good cause.
