Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation founder Michael Brosowski visited Project Happy Feet on 17 November 2011, bringing warm tidings and updates on recent developments in Blue Dragon’s. Michael, who was named CNN Hero, was here in Singapore for a short visit to call on partners and schools to generate more awareness, and hopefully, more support for the work Blue Dragon is doing in Vietnam.

With Michael is Vi, a former shoe-shine boy who was rescued by Blue Dragon more than 10 years ago. With the support from Blue Dragon, Vi was able to complete his education and found himself a good job in the hospitality industry. 6 years later, Vi decided to return to Blue Dragon to help it seek out other youths-at-risk.

Project Happy Feet has been supporting Blue Dragon since 2009 and is happy that a portion of funds raised from the first-ever Project Happy Feet Slipper Race will support their programmes.

Project Happy Feet wishes Michael, Vi, the staff of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, and all its beneficiaries all the very best in their endeavours.
