Did you catch us at the International Volunteer Day at *scape?
Project Happy Feet was invited by National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) to participate in the International Volunteer Day 2011 which was held at *scape on 26 November 2011, between 10am and 8pm.
We had volunteers wearing their bright red PHF Slipper Race t-shirt, berms and slippers to man the booth, and to share with passers-by what Project Happy Feet was about and how they can play a part in helping to alleviate poverty through supporting education and training. HAPPY and notebooks and cookbooks were on sale, and though torrential rain came and went and came and went again, the team still managed to speak to some pretty impressive corporate guys and even raised about SGD140 through the sale of the merchandise!
