Emergenetics International supports PHFSR

Founder and CEO of Emergenetics International Dr Geil Browning at Project Happy Feet office

When Dr Geil Browning learnt about Project Happy Feet and the slipper race, she exclaimed “we’ve got to support this!”

And so she did.

Not only did the Founder and CEO of Emergenetics International (an organizational development consulting company dedicated to moving thinking forward for individuals and organizations alike) got her company to make an outright donation (she was still travelling in Asia when she emailed her office back in Denver, USA), she also rallied all her hundreds of Emergenetics associates across the globe to support the cause of Project Happy Feet by sending out an emailer appealing for their help.

Dr Geil Browning is the creator of the Emergenetics Profile and the Founder of Emergenetics International. She has been recognized throughout her career as an influential business and thought leader and in 2003 she was recognized as Colorado’s Outstanding Entrepreneurial Businesswomen of the Year.

Beginning her career as a teacher, the author of “Emergenetics – Tap Into The New Science of Success” was an elementary school principal at the age of 26. Her lifelong interest in how people learn ultimately led her to study brain dominance research and to develop the Emergenetics Profile, first in a series of instruments that provide useful information on both thinking and behaving attributes.

In 2004, Dr. Browning suffered a stroke that left her without the ability to read, write or speak. Not willing to be beaten, she overcame the stroke to finish her book, continue to run Emergenetics International and gain a new outlook on the brain and communication work she’s been involved in for most of her life. Today, Emergenetics International has grown to have offices around the world, and headquartered in USA (Denver, CO), Europe (Amsterdam, NL) and Asia-Pacific (Singapore). In 2011, Emergenetics International was named to the Inc. 500/5000 fastest growing businesses list.

Project Happy Feet would like to thank Dr Geil Browning, the office in Denver, the office in Asia, and the many Emergenetics associates worldwide for their support.
