40-year-old Jimmy Chok may be a well-known face in the local culinary scene, but behind that chef’s outfit he is just like you and I.
One of the ten chefs who prepared 600 three-course meals for disadvantaged children in the Chefs For A Cause event, the Johor Bahru native honed his skills in the kitchen of The Academy Bistro, which he joined in 2005.
The following article is based on an interview Mr Chok had with The Sunday Times, and provides a glimpse into his life out of the kitchen.
